How do I add my alarm panel?

To add your alarm panel:

  1. Open the app and go to 'My Panels'
  2. Tap the '+' button to add a new panel
  3. Enter the SIM card number associated with your alarm
  4. Configure the specific SMS commands for arming/disarming
  5. Save your settings

Why does the app open the Messages app?

Our app uses SMS commands to communicate with your alarm panel. This design ensures:

  • Security: You have full control over each command sent
  • Transparency: You can verify the exact message being sent
  • Flexibility: You can modify commands if needed before sending

When you tap 'Arm' or 'Disarm,' the app prepares the SMS with your pre-configured command. Simply review and tap 'Send' in your Messages app.

My command isn't working. What should I do?

First, check these common issues before contacting support.

  • SIM Card Status: Ensure the SIM status is ACTIVATED and check the network signal on the alarm keypad
  • Command Syntax: Check your panel's manual for exact SMS command format
  • Message Delivery: Confirm the SMS was successfully sent from your phone

If all these check out but commands still fail, please get in touch with your alarm installer or manufacturer's Technical Support Team.

What alarm panels are supported?

Our app works with Ness 4G alarm panels, including:

Ness 4G Xcel(v11.4 & v11.5)
Ness 4G Dplus (requires DPlus-4G Module 106-985)

Your security alarm panel MUST be configured by licensed security alarm installer
